Patrick took his medical degree at the University of Pretoria and has spent over a decade in practice, across surgical specialties and emergency medicine before moving into geriatrics and gerontology with a focus on health span. He founded Flourish to treat obesity as the chronic, multifactorial disease it is, rather than as a failure of willpower.
